Meet our Health & Wellness Team
Natalie Stothart
With 18 years of experience in girls' education, I have dedicated my career to empowering students to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. In my role as Assistant Head of School, it is my goal to make sure students feel connected and safe at 十大彩票平台. Through planning events and activities, field trips, advising the SGA, overseeing our residential program, and teaching freshmen and juniors, I have the pleasure of building those important relationships with students and ensuring their time at 十大彩票平台 is filled with fun and unforgettable experiences.
Kaleb Colosimo
I started at 十大彩票平台 in 2023 in the role of Community Counselor. I first graduated with my BA from Roberts Wesleyan College, double majoring in Communication and Psychology. I then went on to earn my MS in Mental Health Counseling at SUNY Brockport with a specialization in Women and Gender Studies. I previously worked for The National Suicide Lifeline as a crisis counselor and now run a private practice, where I see clients virtually throughout NYS. I am available as a resource for any 十大彩票平台 student that might be struggling academically, socially, or emotionally and offer appointments as well as walk-in sessions.
Eva Cunningham
As part of the Health and Wellness team, I oversee Academics and Discipline, while collaborating closely with the Assistant Head of School on mental health initiatives. I organize and coordinate the learning lab for students facing academic challenges and assist them in time management skills. Additionally, I guide students in exploring various academic pathways that align with their interests and goals.
Ernest Frimpong
In my role with the Health and Wellness team, my primary focus is to ensure that students feel a strong sense of belonging, where their voices are heard, their concerns are valued, and their needs are met with care and understanding. At 十大彩票平台, we are deeply committed to creating a community where every student feels safe, seen, and supported, a place they can truly call home. My role as a Faculty Fellow for Student Belonging is centered on listening to students, addressing their needs, and helping them navigate their journey within the 十大彩票平台 community.

Health Insurance for Residential Students
十大彩票平台 currently offers Geo Blue insurance to all of our residential students. The Geo Blue coverage is very good and covers most vaccines, office visits, etc. Anything not covered by the insurance (copays, prescriptions ,etc.) will be billed directly to the students’ account. We require parents/guardians to purchase the insurance that 十大彩票平台 offers, but if they have their own insurance and provide sufficient coverage for their student, we can approve their coverage with the proper documentation.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are some reasons that students meet with the counselor?
Students utilize counseling services for a variety of reasons. Presenting concerns could include stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or identity issues. Counseling helps students develop healthy coping skills and personal insight to deal with whatever problems or stresses they are facing.
Are students ever required to meet with the counselor?
In cases where the safety or wellbeing of a student is in question, a concerning pattern of behavior has developed, or with certain disciplinary violations (ex. substance use, violence/ threatening behavior, bullying, academic disengagement) the school may require the student to meet with a counselor.
Are parents contacted if a student meets with the counselor?
We always encourage students to inform their parents if they are struggling, but we do not automatically contact parents unless there is a concern about the student’s health or safety.
What other adults at school are informed if a student meets with the counselor?
Conversations with the Community Counselor are held in confidence unless it is suspected that a student’s safety and/or wellbeing is at risk. Information indicating that a student is at risk of harm to self or others, suspected abuse or neglect, or a report of physical or sexual assault will be shared with a senior administrator at school, the Health & Wellness Team, any appropriate outside agencies, and the student’s parent/guardian.
In cases where certain information may be helpful for a faculty member to work more effectively with a student, a conversation will occur with the student to discuss what information might be passed on, and the student’s permission will be obtained before speaking with anyone.
Does going to counseling go on a student’s school record?
The Community Counselor keeps all session notes confidential, except in cases where they need to be shared with administration and the Health & Wellness Team for the sake of student safety. They do not become a part of the student’s school record.
